Breath work

Breath work is a modality that invites us to use our own breath for healing, relaxation and aliveness. There are many types of breathing practices that can nurture our nervous system, immune system, spirit and mind.

In my work with clients, I aim to guide the breath work according to one’s own life and needs. Maybe you just want to take a minute to ground yourself after a haircut or a hectic day or just add to self care, maybe you want a longer session to drop into deeper relaxation or maybe you just want to learn how to do this at home. Coherent breathing is a practice you can take with you and begin to practice on your own and works well alongside other practices.

I have studied and practiced with teachers and institutes focused on different types of breath work. With my clients, I work primarily with a method called Coherent Breathing. In Coherent Breathing one purposely modulates their breath rate. One can practice this seated, lying down, in combination with gentle movement; in my studio or video.
